Settings for Linked Regions

This manual is in pilot operation.

To fetch data into a linked region from fusion_place or to reflect data from a linked region into the fusion_place ledger, it is necessary to instruct [Excel-Link] on the fetching/reflection method. This is referred to as "Settings for Linked Regions." Here, we will explain the various settings items that specify the fetching/reflection method in "Settings for Linked Regions."

About the Adherence of Linked Region Settings During Sheet Editing

Linked region settings include not only the range to be linked but also addresses of various specified cells, such as the application specified cell. When rows/columns are added or deleted on the sheet, or when cells or ranges are cut and pasted elsewhere, the following impacts occur on these settings items:

Settings Item When rows/columns are added
or deleted
When the specified cells or ranges, or ranges containing them, are cut and pasted elsewhere

Range (cells range for data fetching/reflection)

changes accordingly

Follows and
the settings (range) move to the paste destination

Various Specified Cells (Application specified cell)
(Participant specified cell)
(Edition specified cell)
(Lock color specified cell)
(Display unit cell)

Same as above

Settings do not change
(Specified cells do not move)

In the table above, bold parts only, behave differently from standard Excel operations. This is designed to avoid the inconvenience of moving cell specifications when cutting & pasting labels such as participant labels between cells during operation.
