License Checking
This manual is in pilot operation.
|
The License Checking function restricts the number of Users, Applications and other items on a monthly basis to ensure appropriate use in accordance with the License. Based on the contents of the installed License Grant, the License Checking function checks whether the number of Users in the current month complies with the User count specified in that License Grant.
To use fusion_place, install an appropriate License Grant in the system in accordance with the instructions provided by the distributor.
If the License installed in the system has expired or if the number of Users permitted by the License for the current month is less than the number of active Users, the system cannot be used except for viewing Master Data contents and managing data related to Licenses and User Accounts.
Note that the License Grant used for License Checking reflects the License contents only in a coarse manner. Therefore, the License Checking function does not verify actual usage in detail against each customer’s License conditions. For example, although using a single User Account by multiple Users is prohibited by the contract terms, this cannot be detected by the License Checking function. Please note that responsibility for operating the system in accordance with the contractual conditions rests with the customer.
The items subject to License Checking are as follows.
