Change Your Password

This manual is in pilot operation.

You can change your password by logging into [Manager], [Browser], or [Contributor] and following the steps below.

fusion_place >= 14.0

From v14.0 onwards, change your password via the Change Password screen in the Web menu.

fusion_place >= 12.1

  1. From the menu, select File  User Settings to open the User Settings screen.

  2. In the Navigator pane (on the left side of the screen), select "Security."

  3. In the Editor pane (on the right side of the screen), check "Change Password" under "Change Password."

  4. Enter your current password in the "Old Password" field, enter the new password in the "New Password" and "Confirm New Password" fields, then click the OK button.

    ⇒ Password must be a string between 5 and 50 characters. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored. Case-sensitive.

fusion_place < 12.1

  1. From the menu, select Options  Change Password.

    A dialog prompting for your current password will appear.

  2. Enter your current password.

    The "User Account" dialog will appear.

  3. Check "Change Password" on the dialog, enter the new password in the "Password" and "Confirm Password" fields, then click the OK button.

    ⇒ Password must be a string between 5 and 50 characters. Leading and trailing spaces are ignored. Case-sensitive.
