Logging into Contributor

This manual is in pilot operation.
For fusion_place 14.0 and later, it becomes Logging in from a Web Browser.

The steps to log into [Contributor] are as follows:

  1. Launch [Contributor].

    The "Login" dialog will appear.
    If you close the login dialog by pressing the Cancel button, you can display it again by selecting File  Login from the menu.

  2. Enter your "User Account" and "Password," then click the OK button.

    The "Select Application" dialog will appear.
    If you close the application selection dialog by pressing the Cancel button, you can display it again by selecting [File] > [Select Application…​] from the menu.

  3. Select the Application and click the OK button.

    You will be taken to the [Contributor] initial screen, and the Select Process dialog will also appear.
    Select a process and press the OK button to display the list of submission statuses or acceptance statuses on the [Contributor] initial screen.
    Follow the screen transitions to select each item.
    If you close any dialog by pressing the Cancel button, you can redo the selection by clicking the Process button on the screen later.

    • Logging in starts a "session" (a series of requests and responses) with the server, but if there is no interaction with the server for about 60 minutes during the session, the session will automatically close. In that case, you can reconnect by selecting File  Login from the menu and re-entering your password [1].
