Please note the following points when using SAML authentication.
User Account Registration
User accounts for those who use fusion_place must be registered with both your IdP (Identity Provider) and fusion_place.
Character Types and Length of User Account Names
The types and lengths of characters that can be used in user account names must comply with the fusion_place Terms.
Encryption with SSL / TLS (IdP Requirement)
Due to IdP requirements, configuration of SSL / TLS in fusion_place is mandatory for SAML authentication. Please refer to "System Administration Guide > Network Security > Configuring SSL Usage". The cloud version supports SSL / TLS by default.
Restrictions When Using Requester
Requester does not support SAML authentication. If you use Requester, please use password authentication. SAML authentication and password authentication can be used together.
Restrictions When Using Multi-factor Authentication
When using SAML authentication, the multi-factor authentication feature of fusion_place cannot be used. Please use the multi-factor authentication feature provided by your IdP.
