Copy Linked Region Settings

This manual is in pilot operation.

Setting up multiple linked regions with similar configurations can be cumbersome. To address this, you can copy the settings of a configured linked region to another linked region.

You can copy settings even if the target linked region is on a different sheet or workbook. Follow these steps to copy the settings:

  1. In Excel, select the sheet containing the source region.

  2. From the menu, select fusions  Linked Region Settings.

(If the sheet is protected, a message will be displayed. Remove the sheet protection and try again.)

  3. In the "Configure Linked Regions" dialog, display the settings of the source linked region and click the Copy Settings button in the lower left of the dialog.

  1. If the source and target linked regions are in different sheets or workbooks, follow steps 1 and 2 above to select the sheet containing the target region in Excel.

  2. In the "Configure Linked Regions" dialog, display the settings of the target linked region and click the Paste button in the lower left of the dialog.

Once "Copy Settings" is executed, the source linked region’s settings are remembered and can be pasted multiple times afterward.
