View the Dimension Settings

This manual is in pilot operation.

To view the settings of the Dimension, log in to [Manager] as a designer and select the target application. Then, follow these steps:

  1. In the Navigator pane (left side of the screen), click the "Design" tab.

    The Design tree will be displayed.

  2. Open the Application  Data Definition  Dimension folder in the Design tree.

    A list of dimensions will be displayed within the folder.

  3. From the list, select the dimension you want to view and click it.

    The "Dimension (Design)" panel will be displayed in the Edit pane (right side of the screen). Here, the settings of the selected dimension will be displayed.

    In the Dimension (Design) panel, you can switch between the tabs to view the Basic Information, Members, Properties, and Member List panels.

To Expand/Collapse the Member Tree…​

To expand the member tree, you can double-click each collapsed member individually, or you can expand all descendant members of the selected member at once using one of the following methods:

  • Right-click the member and select Expand All(X) from the menu.

  • Select the member and choose Edit(E)  Expand All(X) from the menu.

Similarly, to collapse all descendant members of the selected member at once, use one of the following methods:

  • Right-click the member and select Collapse All(L) from the menu.

  • Select the member and choose Edit(E)  Collapse All(L) from the menu.

To Search for Members…​

To search for members, open the "Member Search" dialog box using one of the following methods:

  • Right-click in the member tree display area and select Search(S)…​ from the menu.

  • Choose Edit(E)  Search(S)…​ from the menu.

In the search dialog box, enter the search string and press ENTER, or click the magnifying glass button next to the search string field to display the search results below. Labels and names are the search targets. When you select a member from the search results field, that member will also be selected in the member tree, and its contents can be edited (editing is possible without closing the search dialog box).

The search function will also find members that are not included in the member tree.
