Checking the System Environment
This manual is in pilot operation.

You can check the system environment in which fusion_place is running. From [Browser] and [Contributor], you can only check the client environment. From [Manager], you can check both the [Client System Environment] and the [Server System Environment].
Operation Method
System Environment Dialog Box Items
The [Client System Environment] dialog box and the [Server System Environment] dialog box have the same display items.

Product Name |
The full name of the product (fusion_place), including the version number. |
Build No. |
The number used for management by the developer (our company). |
[Memory Usage] |
|
(1) Maximum Memory |
The maximum heap memory allocated to the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) in which fusion_place is running. It is displayed slightly smaller than the actual allocated heap size. |
(2) Allocated Memory |
Of the above maximum memory, the amount currently allocated to the JRE. |
(3) Free Memory |
Of the above allocated memory, the amount currently not in use. The currently used memory amount is (2) - (3). |
[System Environment] |

(1) Java Runtime Name |
The name of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) currently used by fusion_place. |
(2) Java Runtime Version |
(Displayed only in the server system environment) The version of the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) currently used by fusion_place. |
(3) Java VM Name |
The name of the Java Virtual Machine (VM) actually used in the above JRE. |
(4) Java VM Version |
(Displayed only in the server system environment) The version of the Java Virtual Machine (VM). |
(5) Java VM Vendor |
The provider of the Java Virtual Machine (VM). |
(6) OS Name |
The name of the OS on which fusion_place is currently running. |
(7) OS Version |
The version of the OS on which fusion_place is currently running. |
The buttons at the bottom of the dialog box are as follows:
- Release Unnecessary Memory

Forces the JRE to perform garbage collection to release unnecessary memory on the client or server machine, depending on the dialog box. Note that garbage collection will be performed as needed even if not executed here.
- Refresh

Updates the contents of the dialog box to the latest information.
