What is Excel-Link?

This manual is in pilot operation.

[Excel-Link] is a tool for accessing fusion_place data from Microsoft Excel.

[Excel-Link] provides "Regions" and "PivotQuery" functionalities. Regardless of which feature is used, Ledger Access Control is applied when accessing ledger data.

Region Linking Function

Users can create any number of " Linked Regions (rectangular cell ranges on a sheet)" on a custom-designed Excel sheet layout. The following functionalities can be applied to these linked regions:

  1. Retrieve data from fusion_place ledger and display it in each cell of the linked region.

  2. Reflect data in each cell of the linked region back to the fusion_place ledger.

  3. Display fusion_place dimension member names, property values, etc., in the linked region.

Pivot Query Function

You can specify conditions to import fusion_place ledger data into an Excel sheet and display it as a pivot table. The pivot search functionality does not allow updating fusion_place ledger data.

[Excel-Link] is a Microsoft Excel add-in. It becomes available for use once the add-in file is registered as an add-in in Microsoft Excel.
