Exporting Members to a File

To export member configuration data of a Dimension to a file, first log in to [Manager] and select the target application. Then follow these steps to export:

You can export members from either the Dimension (Design) Panel or the Dimension (Maintenance) Panel. The functionality is the same in both cases.

  1. Select the dimension to configure and display the Dimension (Maintenance) Panel (for steps, refer to Viewing Dimensions).

  2. Ensure that encoding is properly set (this step can be skipped if already configured correctly).

  3. (fusion_place >= 12.2) Ensure that Member Exporting Formats are properly set (this step can be skipped if already configured correctly).

  4. Select Edit  Export Members from the menu.

    The "Export Members" dialog box will appear, prompting you to select a file.

  5. Select or specify the file name where the member data will be exported, then click the Export Members button.

    A "Processing Status" dialog box will appear, and after some time, the process will complete. At this point, the members have been exported to the specified file.
