Stop/Restart Automatic Start of Server Programs

This manual is in pilot operation.

The server programs of fusion_place are initially configured to start and stop automatically with the booting and shutdown of the computer where they are installed. However, in cases such as when fusion_place is infrequently used, you may want to start the server manually. This section explains how to change the server startup methods for such cases.

Check the Startup Method for Server Programs

To check the currently applied startup method for the server programs, launch the Server Management Tool from the Windows Start menu.

Please select the following item (program) from the Start menu:

All Programs  fusion_place premium (or standard) n.n…​  Server Management  s1.fusion_place Server Settings

⇒ The "fusion_place Server Properties" dialog box will appear (if an error message is displayed, please refer to "Dealing with Unable to Launch Server Management Tools").

In the dialog box mentioned above, the "Startup type:" list box shows the current method of startup:

Automatic

Auto-start

Manual

Manual start

Stop Automatic Start of Server Programs

To stop the automatic start of server programs, select "Manual" from the "Startup type:" list box in the dialog box above, then click the OK or Apply button.

Restart Automatic Start of Server Programs

To restart the automatic start of server programs, select "Automatic" from the "Startup type:" list box in the dialog box above, then click the OK or Apply button.
