Setting the Encoding

This manual is in pilot operation.

Set the " Encoding " that applies when reading data from or writing data to a file. The encoding set here is used in the following scenarios:

[Manager]

Exporting and importing dimension members

[Browser]

Importing and exporting data

The procedure for setting the Encoding is as follows (common for both [Manager] and [Browser]).

  1. Select Options  Encoding from the menu.

    A submenu with two options, "Japanese (Shift JIS)" and "Unicode (UTF-8)," will be displayed.

  2. Select one of the options (encoding).

    ⇒ The selected encoding will be recorded and carried over the next time you start [Manager] or [Browser].
