1. If the Previous Period is the end of the Previous Year, it will be zero or blank.
2. Not Available for Input, Numeric Items will display as zero, others as blank.
3. Since the period to which the Beginning Balance applies depends on the display format, appropriate note entry is considered difficult and therefore Input is not allowed.
4. When Inputting, the Cumulative Balance (#CBAL) is calculated from the Beginning Balance (#BEG) and the Change in the Current Period (#CHG), but the Beginning Balance (#BEG) is not stored in the database. When the stored data is queried, the Beginning Balance is displayed by back-calculating from the Cumulative Balance and the Change in the Current Period.
5. This is a Calculated Item in the Basic Ledger, but it is allowed for Input in the Note Ledger (as notes may be required even for Calculated Items).
6. Normally, Input is not allowed, but if "Make Ending Balance of Flow Accounts and Net Change of Balance Accounts Writable" is turned ON in the "Default Setting Value" of the full-featured Form, Input will be allowed in the relevant Form.
7. It is a Calculated Item, but it can also be Input. If Input, the "Ending Balance (#END)" Value will be adjusted accordingly.
