Cell Locking and Cell Color Switching

This manual is in pilot operation.

For areas in the Data Region on the sheet where the "Process Category" is "Fetch and Reflect," it is possible to lock cells on the sheet based on whether the corresponding ledger cells are editable or not. During this, cell color switching also occurs.

To perform cell locking/cell color switching, turn on the setting "Auto Switch Cell Lock Attribute" for the data region. This ensures that the cell lock attribute and cell color switch during data fetching/reflection. The details of the conditions are as follows.

【Target Cell】

  • Must be subject to data reflection processing (see "Conditions for Processing Cells").

  • Must be either colorless or "Lock Color" (below) (colorless indicates not locked, while lock color indicates locked).

⚠ Cells not meeting the above criteria will not have their lock attributes or colors switched. Therefore, if you want cells to be subject to data reflection processing but do not want their lock attributes switched, color them other than the lock color and set the lock attributes appropriately.

【Switching Process Content】

If the ledger cell associated with the sheet cell is…

  1. Not writable

The sheet cell is locked, and the color becomes the lock color.

  2. Writable

The sheet cell lock is released, and the color becomes colorless.

【About Lock Color】

Lock color can be set for each linked region. Specifically, by selecting one "Lock Color Designated Cell" in each linked region, the color of that cell becomes the lock color. If no lock color designated cell is chosen, or if the chosen one is colorless, a light blue color [1] is selected as the lock color.

1. Light blue—specifically, in RGB notation (204,204,255), and in Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) it is represented with a ColorIndex property value of 24.
