Ledger Editions are organized into a tree structure based on their derivation relationships. You can view this tree structure on the screen.
To view the tree structure of ledger editions, first select the target application. Then, follow these steps:
-
In the Navigator pane (on the left side of the screen), click the "Execution" tab.
The Execution tree will appear. -
In the Execution tree, click "Manage General Ledger Edition."
The "Manage General Ledger Edition" panel will appear in the Editor pane (on the right side of the screen). The tree structure of the ledger will be displayed on the left side of this panel.
In the tree structure, the root ledger edition (Ledger Edition Root) is displayed closer to the base, and its derived ledger editions are displayed closer to the ends of the branches. The branch connections represent the relationships between the base editions and their derived editions.
Each edition is displayed in one of the following formats:
Type of Ledger Edition | Format | Example |
---|---|---|
Ledger edition with an assigned key |
Ledger Edition Key (Ledger Edition ID) |
WORKSPACE (ffd621d2-8f29-421e-bdaa-8d74026c0db4) |
