Changing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Settings

Disabling MFA for a User by Administrator
Administrators with user management authority can disable multi-factor authentication settings for any user, for example, if a user loses their MFA device.
- 
Log in to the [Manager]. 
- 
Open the settings screen for the target user. 
 
 Modifying User Accounts
- 
Uncheck "Enable Multi-Factor Authentication." 
- 
Click Execute to complete the setting. 
Change Your Multi-Factor Authentication Settings

You can change your multi-factor authentication settings by logging into [Manager], [Browser], or [Contributor] and following the steps below.

From v14.0 onwards, set up multi-factor authentication via the Multi-Factor Authentication screen in the Web menu.

Enable
To enable, an MFA device is required. Install the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator app on your smartphone.

From the menu, select to open the User Settings screen. 
- 
In the Navigator pane (on the left side of the screen), select "Security." 
- 
In the Editor pane (on the right side of the screen), check "Enable Multi-Factor Authentication" under "Multi-Factor Authentication." 
 
 A secret key string and QR code will be displayed.
- 
Register the secret key with your MFA device using the QR code or the string provided. 
- 
Click OK. 
 
 A dialog prompting for the authentication code will appear.
- 
Enter the authentication code displayed on your MFA device. 
- 
Click OK to complete the setup. 
 
 When you reopen the settings screen, "Enable Multi-Factor Authentication" will be checked (enabled).
Disable
- 
From the menu, select to open the User Settings screen.

In the Navigator pane (on the left side of the screen), select "Security." 
- 
In the Editor pane (on the right side of the screen), uncheck "Enable Multi-Factor Authentication" under "Multi-Factor Authentication."
