Compress a Series of Ledger Editions

You can compress a series of ledger editions to make them more compact if they become too complex. To compress a series of ledger editions, first select the target application. Then, follow these steps:

  1. In the Navigator pane (on the left side of the screen), click the "Execution" tab.

    The Execution tree will appear.

  2. In the Execution tree, click "Manage Ledger Editions (General)."

    The "Manage Ledger Editions (General)" panel will appear in the Editor pane (on the right side of the screen).

  3. Click the Compress Series of Editions button.

    ⚠ Compressing a series of ledger editions applies to all editions, not just specific ones, so no selection of ledger editions is required.

    The process will begin, and a screen showing the progress will appear.

  4. The ledger edition tree will refresh, displaying the compressed tree.
