Connecting to the Server

[Excel-Link] connects to the fusion_place server as needed during processing. Specifically, the server is accessed when the user requests the following operations:
User Authentication for Excel-Link (fusion_place < 14.0)
When connecting to the server for the first time, a dialog box prompting you to enter your username and password will appear. If a reconnection is made after a certain period since the last connection, the dialog box will also be displayed for reconfirmation. When the dialog box appears, enter your fusion_place "User Account Name" and "Password," then click the OK button.
User Authentication for Excel-Link (fusion_place >= 14.0)
When connecting to the server for the first time, a web browser will open, displaying the fusion_place login screen for user authentication. If a reconnection is made after a certain period since the last connection, the fusion_place login screen will also be displayed for reconfirmation. Follow the steps below when the login screen appears:

Enter your fusion_place "User Account Name" and "Password," and click the login button. (If using SAML Authentication, click the single sign-on button without entering anything.)

A web page for logging into the Excel-Link add-in will appear.
Click the "Log in to Excel-Link" button. -
(First time only) [1] A confirmation dialog for launching the "fusion_place launcher" will appear.
Click the "Launch fusion_place launcher" button. -
Return to Excel and continue using Excel-Link.
