Create a New Dimension

This manual is in pilot operation.

To create a new Dimension (Custom Dimension), log in to [Manager] as a designer and select the target application. Then, follow these steps:

  1. In the Navigator pane (left side of the screen), click the "Design" tab.

    The Design tree will be displayed.

  2. In the Design tree, click Application  Data Definition  Dimension folder.

    The "Dimension" panel will be displayed in the Edit pane (right side of the screen).

  3. Click the Create New Custom Dimension button on the Dimension panel.

    The "Create New Custom Dimension" dialog will be displayed. Specify the following items:

    Label and Name
    Dimension Type

    Specify whether to create a General Dimension or a Note Item Dimension.

    Dimension to borrow

    Specify if you want to borrow another dimension. This can only be specified for General Dimensions.

  4. Enter or specify the required items and click OK.

    The custom dimension will be created and displayed as a node under the "Dimension" folder.
    To display its contents, click the node.
    The Dimension (Design) panel will be displayed in the Edit pane (right side of the screen).
