Deleting a License

This manual is in pilot operation.
This operation can only be performed by users with "License Management Authorization." For details on how to grant license management authorization to a user, please refer to Modifying User Accounts.

You can delete a license that has been installed via a License Grant File (Please note that deleting a purchased license will also decrease the number of users or applications permitted by that license. However, the license can be restored by reinstalling the License Grant File based on that license).

To delete a license, first log in to [Manager] (there is no need to select an application). Then, follow the steps below to delete the license.

  1. From the menu, select File  License Management.

    The "License Management" dialog’s "License and User Count" panel will be displayed (refer to Field Descriptions).

  2. In the "Licenses" list on the dialog, click to select the row for the license you wish to delete.

    The Delete License button will become available.

  3. Click the Delete License button.

    The license will be deleted, but at this point, the deletion is not yet reflected in the database. To finalize the deletion, click the Close button. You will be asked if you want to save the changes, so click Yes. The deletion will be reflected in the database, finalizing the process.

⚠ After creating and sending the Purchase Order File to the distributor (or dealer), it is safe to delete an unpurchased license. Even after deletion, it is still possible to install the License Grant File.
