A "moratorium key" is a string of alphanumeric characters that encodes information representing a period during which the license check function is suspended. By incorporating the moratorium key into the system using fusion_place, the license check function is suspended for the period specified by the moratorium key. The company may provide a moratorium key to the customer if the provision of the license agreement file to the customer is delayed due to reasons attributable to the company, such as the inability to meet the start date of the license period.

The system (fusion_place database) created during the installation of fusion_place includes a moratorium key that allows the system to be used for a trial period until the end of the month following the installation date.
